Yay for Field Day! Yesterday our 8th Graders led games and activity stations for the whole school to enjoy. 7th Graders got to lead groups of younger students throughout the stations, in preparation for their leadership roles next year.

Congratulations to this Sant Bani School 3rd Grader! Rosalie placed first in the NHWPCA Clean Water Week Poster Contest. Her "From Rain to Drain and Back Again" poster highlighted the importance of our water cycle. She got to celebrate her award at the NH State House this week! We are so proud of all our young environmental advocates at SBS.

The K-2 Museum’s theme this year was something our Kindergarteners, 1st, and 2nd graders spend a lot of time thinking about: Building! We build lots of things - block structures, stories, friendships, inventions, opinions, nests, forts…the list goes on and on. Parents, friends, and fellow students toured the Museum on Thursday night to view artwork, cardboard creations, math manipulatives, play structures, and more. K-2 students acted as tour guides, greeters, docents, photographers, and gift shop cashiers, and got to teach their guests about the things they’ve learned this year! ...

By starting Spanish language at a young age, students develop the pronunciation, mechanics, and conversational skills to graduate from SBS with an impressive knowledge of the language. Recently, alum Chris Dornin ‘91 visited campus to speak to Grades 7 and 8 about his love for the Spanish language and the ways it has impacted his life. Chris credits Sant Bani School with stoking that fire in his youth; he went on to major in Spanish at the University of New Hampshire and has travelled to many Spanish-speaking countries as a result. During Chris’s visit, he shared photos from his travels, which have taken him up snowy peaks in the Andes and into vibrant city centers in Peru, Mexico, Spain, and more. We hope that many Sant Bani School students follow in Chris’s footsteps and take their strong basis in Spanish further in their educational future! ...
