Thirty days worth of reading in one week

From February 3-10, Sant Bani School student and staff participated in the annual “Read-a-Thon,” an event in which the goal was to read as many minutes as possible, outside of school, throughout the week.  Students and their parents recorded the amount of minutes they read, and after all reading logs were collected, staff members tallied the results.

In all, Sant Bani School students and staff read 43,283 minutes throughout the Read-a-Thon, the equivalent to 721 hours, or 30 days, of reading.  Additionally, through pledges collected, students raised $2,500 that was donated to Kearsarge Neighborhood Partners.
