Arts
Art at Sant Bani School
The Arts remain an essential part of the curriculum at Sant Bani School.
All students have ample opportunities to take part in visual arts, performing arts, and music classes throughout their time at SBS, starting in Little Swans preschool.
Visual Arts
Visual arts are included in the weekly curriculum for all grade levels. Sant Bani School art resources include
- A light-filled, spacious art studio
- Art curriculum and visual art extracurricular opportunities
- A Middle School art show in the spring
- A working kiln for pottery and sculpting
Music & Drama
There are various ways in which students can partake in the performing arts, from an informal Recess Concert to the annual Musical. There are typically two official performances for all students during the year – a musical performance by Grades K-5 and a theater production by Grades 6-8. SBS theater and music offerings and resources include
- The Studio – our biggest school gathering space and theater
- Dedicated music practice rooms for lessons
- Exposure and education in various instruments, music genres, and music theory
