Meet Our New Employees!

Sant Bani School welcomes five new employees for the 2021-22 school year.  This talented group brings a variety of experience in the education world and beyond to campus; read brief biographies of each new employee below. 

Dan Love - Head of School

New Head of School Dan Love brings 27 years of experience as a school administrator and educator to Sant Bani School.  Dan recently completed a five-year stint as Director of Teaching and Learning at the American International School in Chennai, India. Prior to his time in India, Dan spent nine years in New Hampshire at New Hampton School where he garnered accolades as Dean of Faculty and Global Curriculum Coordinator.  While Dan was at New Hampton, his sons, Gordon and Gus, attended Sant Bani School and his wife, Amy Sedestrom, taught at SBS.  Dan began his career with five years at the Colorado Outward Bound School, another four in large and small public schools, eight years in independent school leadership, and ten years in international schools on three different continents.

Linda Billin - Spanish Teacher

Linda Billin lived and worked in Ecuador until 1999, when she moved to central New Hampshire.  While in Ecuador, Linda earned degrees from the Universidad Tecnica de Badaboyo School of Business and Administration and from Universidad Tecnica Estatal de Quevedo School of Banking and Finances.  Linda worked in banking until her move to the United States, where she provided administrative support for the family business.  In 2013, Linda became a substitute teacher for the Plymouth School District and worked specifically as a Spanish Teacher for students in grades K-8.  At Sant Bani School, Linda will return to the classroom after spending six years as an Esthetician. 

Kennah Leavitt - Teaching Fellow

Kennah Leavitt joins the Sant Bani School staff as a Teaching Fellow.  A recent graduate of Plymouth State University, Kennah heard about the SBS Teaching Fellow program from current SBS teachers Cassidy Ridings and Nicole Anser, both of whom are PSU graduates who began their teaching careers in the SBS Fellowship program.  She graduated Summa Cum Laude from PSU with a degree in Youth Development and a minor in Adventure Education.  During her final semester at PSU, Kennah was a Facilitator at several Plymouth-area Middle and High Schools through Adapt NH and helped to plan outdoor adventure programming, mindfulness activities, and related outdoor lessons. 

Amy Sedestrom - Special Services Coordinator

For Amy Sedestrom, the 2021-22 school year marks a return to Sant Bani School, where she was the School’s Grade 1 teacher for the 2015-16 school year.  For the past five years, Amy taught Kindergarten and Grade 1 at the American International School Chennai in Chennai, India where she undertook several out-of-classroom responsibilities including work on the K-12 Literacy Articulation Committee, the Service Learning Committee, and the Outdoor Play Space Task Force.  Amy brings more than 20 years of elementary school experience to Sant Bani School as well as three years as the Academic Support Teacher at New Hampton School.  Amy is the wife of Head of School Dan Love.  

Nate Yinger - Communications and Advancement Manager

Nate Yinger comes to Sant Bani School from The Hill School, a grades 9-12 boarding school in Pottstown, Pa. where he had worked since 2009; he moved to New Hampshire this summer with his wife following her appointment to the St. Paul’s School faculty.  Nate worked as an intern in The Hill School communications department during the summer of 2008 and then returned to Hill as an intern in the fall of 2009.  He became a fulltime employee in 2011 and was an Assistant and then Associate Director of Communications until 2018 when he became the school’s Sports Information Director, a capacity he held through the 2020-21 school year.
